How to Fish game: Desert Island guide

Use this page as a stage checklist. Finish the numbered route before spending on optional boss lures, then use the local tables for Fishipedia and side-route cleanup.

How to unlock Desert Island

Return the Giant Piranha trophy and follow the yellow Radar marker.

If the marker is missing, return to Forest Islandand verify its named boss result was handed to the correct quest giver.

Desert Island walkthrough

1. Open the Standard Lure pool and catch an eligible endangered species such as Needlefish or Seahorse.
2. Trade the eligible catch to the Tourist under the tree for a Carrot.
3. Use the Carrot to summon Pufferfish, defeat it and preserve the fin.
4. Return the fin to reveal Rocks Island; separately, deliver Blue Shark to the Grillmaster to unlock cooking.

Stage tips

• Do not sell the quest fish before the Tourist accepts it.
• A Standard Boss Lure costs $280, so stage weapons and healing before starting Blue Shark.
• Use terrain and broad lateral movement rather than chasing Pufferfish through its charge cycle.
